National Delegation of the Republic of Cyprus to the Committee of the Regions

Our Delegation is seeking a:

Coordinator to be based at its Brussels’ office

You will:

• Monitor EU legislative and policy activities in the framework of the Committee of the Regions of the EU
• Organise, coordinate and actively participate in various meetings along with or on behalf of our members
• Conduct analysis of relevant material and draft reports and policy documents
• Actively develop activities for the Delegation
• Liaise with other EU Institutions and organisations

Requirements and competencies:

• An appropriate university degree (for example political and social studies, European and international studies, law)
• Good understanding of local and regional policies
• A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar or related position
• Good understanding of EU institutions and policy-making processes
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
• Fluency in Greek and English. French considered a plus
• Excellent writing and oral skills
• Ability to learn fast and work in diverse environments and issues
